Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner job in San Diego, CA
 
LHH has partnered with an established company who is seeking a dynamic Bilingual HR Business Partner to join their team! This role involves partnering with various departments to provide comprehensive HR support and drive organizational success, with a primary focus on employee relations and labor relations.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and manage HR Department with main focus being on employee relations and labor relations.

  • Develop and maintain reports on key HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and staff development.

  • Assist senior HR leaders with budget reconciliations and departmental purchasing approvals.

  • Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data.

  • Analyze systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in HR processes.

  • Create and maintain HR reports and provide them to management as needed.

  • Stay current with HR policies, programs, laws, and regulations.

  • Build strong partnerships with property leaders and team members to foster a positive company culture.

  • Conduct exit interviews and report trends to senior management.

  • Support the Team Member Rewards and Recognition Program.

  • Facilitate training sessions on team member relations issues.

  • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality in all HR matters.

  • Participate in cross-functional HR duties related to benefits, recruiting, team relations, training, and special projects.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to executive management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish.

  • 3+ years of HR experience.

  • Ideally experience having worked with labor/union workers. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters tactfully.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Thorough understanding of HR laws, regulations, and guidelines.

 
Additional Details:
Location: Primarily onsite in East county San Diego, CA
Duration: Contract-To-Hire, looking for someone long term!
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary: $85,000/year with potential for bonus eligibility
