The Position:
 
Chameleon Integrated Services is currently looking for an HR Specialist to support our internal team to begin by January 1, 2025.
 
 
Overview:
 
The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting the organization’s human resources operations. This role focuses on employee relations, benefit administration, compliance and HR systems management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for cultivating a positive employee experience.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Employee Onboarding
    • Manage onboarding processes to ensure new hires are equipped for success
    • Meet with local new hires to collect documents and assist with onboarding as needed.
    • Enter and maintain employment data in company systems and update physical files accordingly.
  • Employee Relations
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits and workplace issues.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive communication and conflict resolution.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement programs.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and leave policies
    • Educate employees on available benefits and address questions or concerns.
  • Compliance and Policies
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Update and maintain company policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements.
    • Support audits and reporting requirements as needed.
  • HR Systems Management
    • Maintain and update HR information systems
    • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
    • Support training and development programs.
    • Assist with payroll processing and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
    • Handle requests for verification of employment.
    • Compile reports and prepare spreadsheets.
    • Assist in other duties and projects as assigned.

  Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR role (specialist, generalist, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Organized, accurate and thorough
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Dependable, able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to learn new programs and processes quickly
  • US Citizen or Permanent resident status (must be able to pass a Federal Government background check)


Salary
  • $55,000
 
The Location:   St Louis, MO 63103 (100% onsite)
