Summary
The HR Recruiter will manage the recruiting process by partnering with hiring managers and representing Bridgewell to source and interview talent, fill job opportunities, conduct background checks and coordinate on-boarding of external hires and internal transfers. In addition, the recruiter will develop effective and efficient recruitment strategies and be a contributing member to the HR team as a whole.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and necessary applicant requirements
- Creatively search and source candidates across multiple locations using job boards, career sites, internet searches, referrals, networking, career and college fairs and other creative methods.
- Build a strong, diverse candidate pipeline, including leveraging external partnerships and reaching out to passive candidates.
- Ensure all job postings, templates, and requisitions follow Bridgewell guidelines and have the necessary approvals prior to posting
- Ensure advertisements are developed and regularly maintained on key web-sites
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews with candidates, in person or on phone.
- Follow up with hiring managers and candidates for feedback throughout interview process.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring applicant data and status is current and updated regularly in the ATS. Track recruitment statistics as required.
- Conduct full background checks for external employees including RMV, and CORI screenings, education, license and certification verifications in a timely manner ensuring accuracy in all communication and documentation required in compliance with the position and location. Provide documentation to regulatory agencies as required.
- Onboard new hires including verifying all necessary orientation information.
- Generate offer letters for candidates and work with managers to ensure offers comply with pre-established salary guidelines and within budget.
- As part of recruitment team, assist in developing pro-active recruitment strategies to anticipate, plan and recruit for future business needs, including assisting with training and developing interns.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal employees, external applicants, management and leadership team.
- Assist with set up and the preparation of New Employee Orientation
- Oversee and Manage internal recruitment process including screening internal candidates, communicating with managers, following up on interview feedback, extending internal offers and maintaining compliance for internal transfers by way of background checks, mandatory certifications/training, compulsory education documentation, active corrective actions, and seniority.
- Collect and Review all PAFs for internal transfers and hand over to employee relations for processing in HRIS.
- Manage the orientation list and offer letters for HRIS processing
- Provide other support as assigned within the Human Resources Dept.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field Required
- 1 Year of high volume recruiting experience preferred
- Experience in the Human Service industry preferred
- Experience with various interviewing practices.
- Experience with a variety of internet job posting sites and use of creative recruiting strategies.
- Experience in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment reporting
- Experience with candidate on boarding processes
Knowledge/Skills
- Effective interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently at with competing and changing priorities.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle and be willing to travel to Bridgewell facilities.
- Comfortable presenting prepared material in front of groups
- Intermediate level knowledge of all Microsoft Office software programs. Database management skills preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
- The employee must be able to drive a vehicle.
- Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses.
- Must have a normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment.
