Summary:
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Youth Enrichment Brands (YEB), you will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical HR support to one or more Business Units. This role requires a proactive and hands-on HR professional who can partner effectively with business leaders to drive business outcomes and enhance employee engagement and performance. You will act as a trusted advisor on all HR-related matters, ensuring alignment with the broader corporate HR strategy while addressing the unique needs of the business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand goals and challenges and provide HR insights and support to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the business unit’s goals and the overall HR strategy.
- Act as a change agent to support organizational transformations and drive culture initiatives within the business units.
- Talent Management:
- Partner with business unit leaders and Recruiting team on talent acquisition efforts to attract, select, and onboard top talent for the business units.
- Facilitate talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management and development.
- Support and/or facilitate development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on HR policies, practices, and employee relations issues.
- Lead investigations, resolve employee concerns and in a fair, effective and timely manner.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the values of YEB.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Collaborate with the corporate HR team to implement and manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide guidance on salary reviews, promotions, and other compensation-related matters to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- HR Operations and Compliance:
- Partner to manage HR operational processes within the business unit, including HRIS management, payroll, and record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Organizational Development:
- Assess organizational needs and design and deliver initiatives to improve team effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Facilitate team-building activities, leadership development programs, and other initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of client-facing HR business partner experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years managing work deliverables within an HR team.
- A degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience. Professional HR certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience contributing to the development of HR strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (such as ADP) and Google or Microsoft Office Suite.

- Time Management: Ability to manage to deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Organizational skills: Organized approach to solving problems and implementing solutions.
- Relationship Management: Strong experience with managing multiple leader requests and stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities and proposing and implementing solutions.
- Project Management: A working knowledge of project management principles and best practices. Change Management experience is ideal.
