Job Title: HR Generalist (Confidential Search)

Location: Kirkland, WA (In-Office, 5x per week)

Compensation: $70K–$80K

About the Role: Our client is seeking an HR Generalist. This role is a key position supporting a large, multi-state team. The position is responsible for HR functions with a focus on technical HR systems, analytics, and benefits administration. While not focused on employee relations, the role requires strong adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years in HR with multi-state experience preferred
• Familiarity with HRIS (especially Paycom), benefits management, and compliance with federal and state regulations
• Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete and process pre-hire paperwork in Paycom HRIS
• Ensure new hire documents (I-9, W-4, direct deposit, etc.) are accurately filed
• Update and maintain employee records according to legal standards
• Partner with Regional Admins to enhance the onboarding process
• Manage benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, HSAs)
• Handle FMLA, ADA, and other leave processes, ensuring smooth communication and transitions
• Respond to HR-related inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed
• Support compliance audits and recommend policy updates
• Troubleshoot HRIS issues, document management, and case resolution
• Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM - on site

Requirements:

• Stable job history, experience in a large, multi-state organization
• Background in benefits administration, HR systems, and leave processing
