HR Generalist Job at Division 10 Personnel in Milwaukee

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful HR Generalist to join a well-known company specializing in innovative, and technological solutions. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment by managing a wide range of HR functions, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee engagement. This person can work from their Milwaukee or Denver office.

In this role, you will provide essential support to the HR department, covering areas such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment processes, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Administer employee benefits programs, addressing inquiries and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist with employee relations by providing guidance, resolving concerns, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support HR initiatives such as training programs, performance evaluations, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
• Collaborate with management to drive employee engagement and retention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
