We are seeking a highly motivated HR/Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our organization by managing essential HR functions and ensuring smooth payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Administration:
    • Process bi-weekly payroll, including time-off accruals, adjustments, and incentive payments.
    • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, tax filings, and reporting.
    • Maintain employee records and conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Post job openings and screen applicants.
    • Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and physical assessments for new hires.
    • Onboard new employees, providing necessary documentation and orientation.
  • HR Support:
    • Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
    • Assist with employee relations issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and conduct regular audits.
  • DOT Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including driver qualifications and employment verification.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) and 2-3 years Human Resources experience including payroll preferred.
