Job Description
Our client is InSearch for a Human Resources Generalist to join their growing team. This role is responsible for new hire screening, employee onboarding, compliance, and other HR related functions for multiple clients nationwide. The ideal candidate is systems savvy, highly detailed, and thrives in fast-paced work environments.
Compensation: $45,000 – $60,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Manage employment verifications, background check processing, references, employee onboarding and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee files pertaining to employee status, promotion or transfers, personal information, paid time off, garnishments, benefit deductions, and all other related data.
- Human resources administration related to benefits, health and safety, and training
- Ensure compliance with company practices and federal, state, and local laws, including safety training, OSHA regulations, tax, payroll, and employment law.
- Stay up-to-date on staffing trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to drive continuous improvement in HR practices.
- Review and update company policies and procedures manual to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Address and resolve internal staff and contractor inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive matters when necessary.
- Handle and distribute confidential information.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of current HR related experience needed
· Working knowledge of Paycom preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
· Experience in Staffing Industry a plus
