Responsibilities
•Perform regular cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing shared spaces, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational areas.
•Collect and discard rubbish from shared areas and designated collection points.
•Keep the tidiness of outdoor zones, including sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor areas, ensuring they are free of clutter and debris.
•Clean shared area appliances, such as washers and dryers, making sure they are in efficient functioning order.
•Notify the property manager or maintenance team of any repairs or maintenance requirements beyond your competence.
•Monitor the premises for risks and security worries, promptly reporting any issues to the property manager.
•Interact with tenants in a polite and professional manner, handling their complaints or requests expeditiously.
•Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and advise the property manager when supplies need to be restocked.
•Adhere to safety procedures, premises regulations, and rules. Guarantee that all cleaning and maintenance duties are carried out in compliance with safety and health requirements.
•Be available for emergency responses, such as responding to leaks or other urgent maintenance necessities after hours.
Qualifications
•Previous work experience in janitorial, cleaning, or a related field is preferred.
•Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and methods is desired.
•Great attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required.
•Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
•Effective communication skills and an accommodating, customer-oriented attitude are necessary.
•The job requires physical fitness and the capability to perform strenuous tasks.
•Familiarity with safety protocols and the commitment to follow them is essential.
•Flexible work hours may be needed, which includes weekends and holidays.
•A high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
•A valid Driver's License is a must in order to complete the essential job functions (such as visiting different locations, obtaining/transporting supplies, etc.).
