Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a global aerospace and defense company that is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant for a Direct Hire Opportunity for their office in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to multiple senior executives within Headquarters.
- Act as primary backup to the Executive Assistant supporting the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
- Proactively manage and coordinate complex schedules, calendars, and meetings (including virtual and in-person), ensuring optimal efficiency and minimizing conflicts.
- Seamlessly arrange and execute all travel requirements, including itinerary planning, booking, and expense report processing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries, including phone calls, emails, and visitors, maintaining a professional and welcoming image for the organization.
- Proficiently manage all administrative tasks, including correspondence, document preparation (letters, memos, presentations), filing, and records management.
- Actively contribute to departmental projects, such as conference planning and logistical support for meetings.
- Develop and design high-quality presentations and reports utilizing advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and adherence to all relevant administrative policies and procedures.
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties as assigned, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5-10 years of executive-level administrative support within a C-suite environment.
- Willingness to work in the corporate headquarters office Monday-Friday during standard business hours.
- Citizenship: U.S. Persons status is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start date, unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Concur is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of successful teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
