Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Insurance industry based in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including account reconciliation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and billing procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of invoices and ensure timely payments
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks for customer accounts
• Handle accounts payable and ensure all financial records are accurate
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
• Execute billing procedures accurately and efficiently
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial data
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.
• Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Needs to have a solid understanding of Billing processes
• Should have expertise in Invoice Processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience in the Insurance industry is preferred
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
