Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company in the Kansas City Metro to assist with identifying an accounting specialist to join their team. The accounting specialist will handle both accounts payable and receivable as well as month end support. This role is onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Matching, coding, and entering payable invoices.
Accounts Receivable: Entering and reconciling accounts receivable payments.
Issue Resolution: Researching and resolving accounts payable or receivable issues with vendors or customers.
General Ledger: Performing general ledger posting and month-end reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Preparing accruals and amortizations.
Supply Management: Managing all supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
Human Resources and Payroll: Assisting in human resources and payroll processing.
Safety Program: Helping manage the employee safety program.
Clerical Tasks: Performing other clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of general accounting experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prepare or interpret basic verbal or written instructions and perform routine mathematical functions.
Training in customer service, personal computers, cash handling, and bookkeeping.
High school education or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in interpersonal communications, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of teller area procedures and policies, and working knowledge of on-line computer systems.
Pay: $20-25/hr
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
