We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial operations in a multi-regional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, or relevant standards as applicable).
- Develop and enforce internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-region operations.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and resolving any findings.
- Continuously improve accounting systems, processes, and policies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor cash flow and funding to ensure operational needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles.
- Experience in managing multi-regional accounting functions, including LATAM and U.S. operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP,
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing remote, multi-cultural teams.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Bilingual is a PLUS (Spanish)
