Contemporary Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our client in Kennett Square, PA! This permanent opportunity offers $110,000-$130,000 annually. The Accounting Manager will lead key financial operations and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) teams, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  
• Manage and enhance monthly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  
• Oversee financial reporting to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  
• Collaborate with internal audit and finance teams to establish and maintain robust internal controls.
  
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to department heads.
  
• Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of audit-related materials.
  
• Develop and implement accounting systems to align with organizational growth.
  
• Lead team development by providing training, performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
  
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage with diverse teams.
  
• Leadership abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.
