We are seeking a corporate Accounting Specialistfor an emerging growth Southeastern regional company based in the metro Jackson area with manufacturing, finance, and retail operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements that foster efficiency and growth.

Job Duties

• Provide hands-on accounting support for month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations.
• Handle AP/AR, cash receipts, and general ledger activities.
• Assist with payroll, utilities, treasury, and budgeting tasks.
• Reconcile capital assets, trust account statements, and manage check runs.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Solid grasp or strong interest in the intricacies of manufacturing and/or retail operations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• SQL/Access database skills highly desirable.
• Superb interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

• $55,000-65,000+ DOE
