Movemedical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to manage and advance our accounting operations. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles used by SaaS companies , have a proven track record in managing audits, and be proficient in enterprise-level accounting software.
You will be a key player in ensuring compliance, managing accounting records, and supporting internal and external audits, all while maintaining cross-functional communication and effective vendor management. What will you do?
Manage the entire accounting cycle and ensure accurate month-end closures.
Maintain the company’s general ledger and track assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues.
Ensure the organization’s financial statements and records comply with GAAP principles.
Lead internal and external auditors and be responsible for audit-related inquiries.
Reconcile bank accounts to manage cash flows.
Identify areas for accounting process improvements and provide solutions to streamline operations including documenting and preparing new policies and procedures.
Work closely with the finance team to complement strategic planning efforts.
Ensure accurate and timely record keeping and compliance with all finance policies.
Maintain communication across departments such as Sales and HR for payroll and benefits.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure contract terms and efficient payment processing.
What skills and experience do we expect you to have?
You have a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of accounting experience .
You possess a CPA certification.
You have prior auditing experience with private companies.
You have experience with enterprise accounting software solutions including QuickBooks and NetSuite.
You have strong proficiency in GAAP, ASC 606, and are familiar with policies guiding software and services companies.
You are adaptable, possess excellent communication skills, have a keen attention to detail, and thrive in dynamic environments.
You have experience leading a small team and have the potential to scale into a senior role.
You have experience working with investor-backed companies or organizations with external oversight.

At Movemedical, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range is expected to be $105,000-$120,000 for this position and will vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level.
