About the Position: We are seeking an experienced Manpower Specialist to play a vital role in the establishment of a new Air Force Group at Warner Robins, GA. This new Group, comprising three squadrons, is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in Air Force policies and procedures related to manpower and organizational establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of manpower plans for the new Group and its three squadrons.
- Advise on the allocation of personnel resources to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand manpower requirements and provide solutions to staffing challenges.
- Ensure compliance with Air Force policies and procedures in the establishment and operation of the new Group.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the smooth transition of personnel into the new organization.
- Develop and maintain manpower reports and analytics to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Provide guidance on training and development needs for the workforce to meet the Group's operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manpower planning or human resources within the Air Force or Department of Defense.
- Familiarity with Air Force organizational structures, policies, and procedures related to manpower management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in the use of manpower planning tools and software.
- Experience in setting up new units or groups within the Air Force.
- Knowledge of the specific operational environment of the Air Force Base.
