Snelling is looking for a Sign Production Assistant at a busy company on the South side of Grand Rapids.
1st shift, 6am - 4:30pm M - F, occasional Sat work as needed.
$16, temp to perm
Responsibilities of the Sign Production Assistant:

• Follow a layout to place vinyl or full color prints on a predetermined substrate
• Prepare substates for vinyl application (may include cutting, laminating, cleaning)
• Weeding excess vinyl that was cut on plotters
• Quality pre and post production
• Reading & interpreting work orders & proofing for errors
• Laminating, cutting and mounting printed products
• Operate equipment in graphics department (large printers, computers ect)
• Maintain equipment,
• Help load,store and inventory graphic material
• Clean and maintain department

Requirement of the Sign Production Assistant:

• Previous experience working with vinyl signs
• Previous experience laminating, cutting vinyl, weeding, mounting vinyl, ect.
• Knowledge of windows operating system
• Valid transportation - not on a bus line
• Clear background and able to pass a drug test
