Sign Production Assistant

Snelling is looking for a Sign Production Assistant at a busy company on the South side of Grand Rapids. 1st shift, 6am - 4:30pm M - F, occasional Sat work as needed. $16, temp to perm Responsibilities of the Sign Production Assistant: Follow a layout to place vinyl or full color prints on a predetermined substrate Prepare substates for vinyl application (may include cutting, laminating, cleaning) Weeding excess vinyl that was cut on plotters Quality pre and post production Reading & interpreting work orders & proofing for errors Laminating, cutting and mounting printed products Operate equipment in graphics department (large printers, computers ect) Maintain equipment, Help load,store and inventory graphic material Clean and maintain department Requirement of the Sign Production Assistant: Previous experience working with vinyl signs Previous experience laminating, cutting vinyl, weeding, mounting vinyl, ect.
