Job Description
Catch, insert and pack finished products coming off the presses. Review final product performing a series of quality checks before loading in to trays or bins. Perform finishing make ready tasks prior to start-ups. Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed. Operate the Segbert. Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags.
Additional Information
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.00- $20.40 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary
based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition
to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include
overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision

Job Description

- Inspect product for quality defects and correct errors as they occur
- Pack, band, and/or sort product into batches, packets and pallets
- Count trays on pallet and compare with shipping documents to ensure correct count/weight.
- Document progress and issues/resolutions to ensure proper reporting across departments/shifts
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. - continuously.
- Ability to exercise basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read a standard ruler.
- Ability to visually identify and inspect detailed product for defects.
- Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
- Ability to coordinate hand and foot movements to operate staple machine.
