At Hillside Fellowship, we believe with all our hearts that Jesus Changes Everything! Our mission is to worship God by proclaiming Jesus and making disciples who are deeply rooted in God’s Word and empowered by His Spirit. As our Production Director, you’ll play a key role in making this mission come alive by overseeing all the audio, visual, and lighting elements that set the stage for worship each weekend. Whether it’s creating seamless transitions, dialing in the perfect sound mix, or making sure the lighting hits just right, you’ll ensure the worship experience is immersive and impactful. Leading with creativity, you'll also recruit, train, and inspire an amazing volunteer team to help elevate our production game to new heights. Sound like you? Keep reading!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Own the production space! You’ll manage and produce all aspects of live and online weekend worship services—audio, lighting, and video—ensuring a smooth, top-tier experience every time.
  2. Set the bar high! Define and maintain excellence in all areas of AVL (audio, visual, lighting), both in-person and online.
  3. Build and lead a dream team of volunteers, equipping and empowering them to run production with confidence, all while discipling them in their walk with Jesus.
  4. Be the guardian of our gear: oversee maintenance, upgrades, and long-term care of all AVL equipment, ensuring longevity and stewardship.
  5. Plan ahead! You’ll help design long-term strategies for equipment upgrades and work with the team to make sure special events and services go off without a hitch.
  6. Be the go-to tech guru for any auxiliary campus-wide events that need production expertise.
  7. Manage the production budget like a pro, helping us get the best value while continuing to push the envelope on production quality.
  8. Be an active participant in planning meetings, team collaborations, and additional training opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. You have a deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and embody the culture and values of Hillside (check out Galatians 5:22-23 for a sneak peek).
  2. You’re all in on Hillside’s mission to worship God and make disciples.
  3. Humility is your superpower—you lead with a servant's heart and a collaborative spirit.
  4. Ideally, you bring at least 3 years of experience in Production & AVL leadership, but we're more interested in your passion and potential.
  5. You’re a communication ninja: able to clearly, concisely, and kindly communicate in any setting.
  6. Team-building is your jam! You have a track record of building and developing healthy, thriving teams.
  7. You're highly organized, love problem-solving, and respond quickly with thoughtful, detailed answers.
  8. You must have the ability to pass a background check.
