Job Title: Remote Assistant Production Manager

Position Summary:
The Assistant Production Manager will play a vital role in supporting the production team at Roofing Angels. This position focuses on assisting with estimates, bids, and coordination of roofing projects to ensure smooth operations and timely completion. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in the roofing or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating and Bidding:

● Assist in preparing detailed estimates and bids for roofing projects, including material take-offs, labor calculations, and cost analysis.

● Collaborate with project managers and senior staff to review project requirements, scope of work, and determine project costs.

Project Coordination:

● Schedule and coordinate project activities, including manpower allocation, equipment deployment, and material deliveries.

● Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to provide project updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues as needed.

Documentation and Administration:

● Maintain accurate project documentation, such as bids, proposals, contracts, and schedules.

● Organize and update project records, including job photos and cost tracking.

Material Management:

● Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and team members to obtain pricing and quotes for materials and services as needed for roofing projects.

Technical Support:

● Utilize tools like iRoofing, AccuLynx, and other software to create sketches, manage schedules, and improve efficiency.

● Provide feedback on estimates and assist in streamlining processes.

Collaboration:

● Work closely with accounting and administrative teams to ensure financial documentation aligns with project goals.

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the roofing or construction industry.

● Strong understanding of roofing estimating principles and practices, with experience in preparing bids and proposals

● Proficiency in roofing estimating tools such as iRoofing and AccuLynx.

● Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members

● Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
