Associate Data Analyst
Bloom Ads is looking for an ambitious Associate Data Analyst to conduct data research and provide actionable insights derived from campaign performance for our clients. In this role, you'll be required to compile and mine data on media performance and report your findings to key agency stakeholders. You will report directly to the Data Solutions Manager on the analytics team and will support the media and account teams.
Responsibilities:
● Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual campaign recap reports and analyses according to measurement plans, using data storytelling and analysis techniques
● Pull reports and adjust dashboards from the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence platform (aka Datorama)
● Access publisher and vendor dashboards to discover meaningful analytics based on performance
● Tracking performance of cross-channel paid media campaigns
● Develop observations and actionable insights around campaign results, helping clients understand what's working and what's not
● Collaborate with media and accounts teams to review paid media efforts and determine strengths and weaknesses by channel, ad unit, platform, etc.
● Consolidate learnings across similar campaigns, identifying trends and patterns that can inform future strategy
● Use and analyze data in Excel and Datorama to answer specific questions
● Perform ongoing data QA to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used for reporting and analysis
● Monitor dashboards for optimal performance marketing
● Stay up to date with media trends, advanced analytics, and best practices as it pertains to reporting data
Qualifications:
● 1 – 2 years of marketing and advertising or related experience
● Experience with media analytics or media planning a plus
● College degree required - Emphasis in Statistics, Math, Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, or other related field of study preferred
● Ability to work well with others and collaborate in cross-functional teams
● Ability to manage and prioritize a number of concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment
● Strong numerical reasoning skills, with an understanding of statistical concepts
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize statistical information in an informative and concise manner
● A strong desire to learn and a passion for digital marketing, research, and analytics
● Strong attention to detail
Technical Skills:
● Experience working with data visualization tools such as Datorama or Tableau required
● Highly proficient in data aggregation and analysis in Excel/Google Sheets
● Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint or Google Suite Equivalent
● Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or SQL a plus
● Experience in Google Analytics a plus
Compensation Range: $60K - $67.5K Depending on Experience
This is the pay range Bloom Ads reasonably expects it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role. Bloom Ads reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
