This role is about more than filling roles—it's about building a scalable, high-performing recruiting function that ensures we have the right people to drive success. You'll partner closely with the COO, People team, and hiring managers to translate the company's vision. This role exceeds just simply sourcing and recruiting - it includes developing long-term sourcing strategies, rubrics, intake forms, employer branding opportunities, and more to ensure we bring the best talent into Publishing.com.

Responsibilities- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent across all levels of the organization
- Lead recruiting and partner with people managers and the Senior Recruiter to identify hiring needs, refine role requirements, and create tailored recruitment plans
- Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidate offers
- Create and implement innovative approaches to sourcing candidates, including leveraging social media, job boards, employee referrals, and networking events
- Enhance employer branding efforts to position the company as a top employer and attract high-quality candidates
- Analyze recruiting metrics and performance data to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and meet hiring goals
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Stay up-to-date on recruiting trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the talent market
- Build a high-performing recruiting function with an average time-to-hire starting at 60 days with a 12-month goal to achieve under 45 days and 85% hiring manager satisfaction.
- Maintain an offer acceptance rate of 85% or higher, ensuring candidates are aligned with the company and excited about the opportunity
- Build and sustain a pipeline of qualified candidates for at least 80% of recurring roles, ensuring readiness for future hiring needs
- Ensure new hire retention exceeds 85% at the 12-month mark, demonstrating the quality of candidates hired
- Assist the Head of People and marketing department with branding initiatives, including job postings, social media presence, and career site improvements to increase the volume of inbound applications
- Reduce the cost-per-hire by 15% and reduce agency reliance by leveraging internal resources, strategic sourcing methods, and effective recruiting tools
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience building a high-performing recruiting function for a Startup or SaaS organization
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, talent sourcing, and employer branding strategies
- Track record of successfully hiring for technical, operational, and leadership roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience developing robust talent pipelines for evergreen, high volume Sales and Customer Success teams
- Experience managing and optimizing recruiting teams, processes, and tools for efficiency and performance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with the People team, hiring managers, and leadership team
- Comfortable using ATS Systems, specifically Greenhouse and other recruiting software; SeekOut preferred
- Creative problem-solver with a relentless drive to identify and attract top talent in a competitive market
- Knowledge of compliance and legal considerations in recruitment and hiring
$130,000 - $150,000 USD Annually + Bonus
