As a Manufacturing Engineer with 7 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and driving cost-efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance our production capabilities. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and meet customer expectations. Cost Reduction: Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, resource optimization, and supplier collaboration. New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with product development teams to ensure smooth NPI transitions, including design for manufacturability (DFM) assessments. Manufacturing Documentation: Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in Kaizen events, Lean initiatives, and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization. Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers to improve the quality and reliability of sourced components and materials. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as R&D, quality assurance, production, and maintenance to achieve organizational goals. Risk Assessment: Identify potential manufacturing risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Training: Provide training and guidance to production personnel on new processes and equipment. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with strong background in metal stamping and welding processes Experience with die casting is a plus. Experience in CNC machine operations or programming is a plus. Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ERP systems). Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology. Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
