Manufacturing Technician Job at Motion Recruitment in El Paso

Our client, a global specialist in energy management and automation products, is actively looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join their team in El Paso, TX! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.

***This is a 1 year initial contract position***

This person will work with a team that is focused on creating and updating process designs considering safety, quality, and ergonomics as well as developing instructions when running new product introductions on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Work with Application Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Associates to effectively create detailed work instructions for new products as well as job breakdown sheets for hourly employees
• Support launch projects by determining time estimates by conducting video analysis

Required Skills & Experience

• HS Diploma required, Bachelor's degree a plus
• Experience working in a safety, quality, and/or manufacturing engineering environment
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Work, and SAP
• Experience in blueprints reading
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
