The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to work with our housekeeping team.
POSITIONS RESPONSIBILITIES ANDACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for thecleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public space and toensure each member of the housekeeping team carries out their assignmentsabiding by standards. Responsible for all housekeeping cleanliness standardsThe Housekeeping Inspector will be responsible for but not limited to handlingand directing guest complaints concerning housekeeping, notifying maintenanceof any needed repairs, approving rooms for occupancy and ensure room is 100%prior to placing it into the system, responsible for keeping all storage andlinen rooms in a clean and satisfactory condition as well as stocked withneeded items, etc.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ANDATTRIBUTES: Must be 18 years of age or older
SCHEDULE / HOLIDAYS / PTO
The HousekeepingInspector is expected to normally keep a 5 day a week schedule but adjusted asneeded according to occupancy and business need and be available for peak guesttimes and/or in the event of an emergency. A work week of 45 hours per week canbe expected, however it can be more or less depending on thebusiness needs of the Lodge. Working evenings, weekends and holidays can beexpected. This role will typically be expected to work during peak seasons,typically taking PTO and vacations during slower seasons.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ANDATTRIBUTES: Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have dependable transportation to andfrom work.
- Ability to read, speak and understandthe English language
- At least two years of experience in ahousekeeping or laundry role
- A positive and friendly attitude towardsguests, customers, and fellow employees
- Must be extremely detailed with outstandingcommunication skills
- Ability to follow directions both written andverbally
- Integrity to safeguard confidentialinformation
- Demeanor to remain calm in tense or stressfulsituations
- Initiative to work efficiently with minimalsupervision
- Flexible schedule
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds onoccasion
- Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100pounds
