Prolink is hiring: Electrical Technician 3rd shift in Shelbyville

Prolink has partnered with a manufacturing facility located in Shelbyville, KY. We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift position. 

Responsibilities:

• Receives and performs job assignments through work orders, sketches, PM schedules, blueprints, or verbal instructions. Follows applicable codes and regulations on work performed.
• Troubleshoots all malfunctioning systems, troubleshoot through PLCs, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and remedy the breakdown or malfunction.
• Installation of electrical systems, conduits, wire connections to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, and modify and relocate machinery
• Repair or replace wiring, power tools and maintains various production machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and parts.

Must Haves:

• A.S./B.S. Degree in Electronics Eng/Maintenance Technology or related field or Military equivalent OR Journeyman's Card
• 3-5 years of Industrial Maintenance/Manufacturing experience
• Experience in 480V/3-Phase, VFD, Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC troubleshooting, and reading/interpreting blueprints/schematics
