About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hood Container. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment during the night shift. Your primary goal will be to minimize downtime and maximize productivity by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of machinery. You will work closely with the production team to identify and address any issues that arise, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and address any issues that arise during the night shift.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Skills:

As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician, you will use your strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to keep our production equipment running smoothly. You will work closely with the production team to identify and address any issues that arise and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities. You will use your excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with your colleagues, and you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to improve our processes and increase efficiency.
