Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Forest Park, GA

Hire Type: Direct

Shift & Hours: 3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am

Pay Rate: $30-34/hr

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment by performing breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. This role requires a collaborative approach and adherence to safety and quality standards while working in a dynamic production environment.

Job Duties:

Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures on the plant floor.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment safely and thoroughly.
Exchange knowledge with maintenance and production staff while demonstrating a willingness to learn.
Ensure compliance with and support for SQF, Lean, RBS, and MOS programs.
Maintain professionalism in all internal and external communications.
Use the SAP computer-based maintenance work order system to manage tasks.
Adapt to working in extreme temperatures, depending on the season and plant location.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance processes and techniques.
Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
Proficiency with SAP or similar maintenance work order systems (preferred).
Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Commitment to safety and quality standards, including adherence to SQF, Lean, RBS, and MOS frameworks.
