Job Description
Responsibilities:
Overall support and proper maintenance and repair of all plant/buildings and grounds equipment to include, troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance
Upload, download, configure, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs and process instruments
Assist with building and wiring control panels for machinery per blueprints and schematics
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listens for problems; use precision measuring and testing instruments.
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoots malfunctions
Engage in daily interaction with plant floor employees and will work closely with Process Engineering and other maintenance team members to support plant operations.
Utilize root cause analysis approach when troubleshooting and diagnosing machinery issues
Requirements:
2.5 years minimum as Maintenance Mechanic or Technician or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics and the ability to read and interpret blueprints is highly beneficial
SAP experience a Plus
Must be able to work both 2nd Shift as well as 3rd Shift or Overnight hours
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
