USAC's target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $80,000.00 To $100,000.00 USD per year. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors based on knowledge, skills, and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Senior Auditor for the Audit and assurance division.

Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Senior Auditor will to perform, review, and lead specialized audits within the four USF support mechanisms and contributors.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized compliance audit work in accordance with applicable audit standards.
- Prepare clear and concise audit work papers, reports, and other communications to document audit procedures performed and exceptions noted.
- Communicate audit results, in oral or written format, to the auditee and USAC management.
- Review work paper documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Perform project management duties over individual workload.
- Provide assistance for whistleblower investigations as well as management requests and site visit follow-ups.
- Assist in other audit special projects as needed.
About You
The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of the audit division.
- Bachelor Degree and/or relevant technical training and certifications.
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of directly related experience.
- One (1) to Two (2) years of operational and/or technical experience.
- High level of proficiency in the following tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and MS Project
- Ability to absorb information from multiple sources and produce clear, accurate and concise communications.
- Strong project management skills and experience with a proven history of results.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and the ability to deal appropriately with sensitive information.
- Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well individually and in teams to share information, support colleagues and encourage participation.
- Ability to travel out of town on a periodic, as-needed basis.
Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), preferred
