The Senior HR Systems Analyst will be responsible for processing the organization's human resource information using the Workday HRIS application and participate in the research, analysis, and implementation efforts associated with translating organization requirements into practical system solutions.

How will you make an impact?

Implement Workday System Optimizations and Enhancements

Responsible for supporting Workday across one or more of the following modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning). This includes requirements gathering, researching, configuring, testing, and implementing of system enhancements and business process improvements within the areas of assigned responsibility.

  • Recommend technical solutions taking into account priorities and trade-offs, and drive alignment among stakeholders.
  • Configure Workday system for recurring annual processes like Benefits Open Enrollment, Annual Performance Review, or Compliance Training.
  • Serve as lead on projects and enhancement activities as needed.
  • Plan and test for weekly and semi-annual Workday software releases, identifying and prioritizing new features to implement.

HR Reporting and Analytics

  • Create and maintain HR reports, dashboards, metrics, and workforce analytics using a variety of tools (Workday, PowerBI, Excel) to share with a variety of audiences across the organization.
  • Ensure accuracy in all current and new reporting tools and adherence to data stewardship and access requirements.

Workday System Support

  • Troubleshoot and correct issues when they arise.
  • Provide technical guidance/direction to users and assist in creating or updating Job Aids as needed.
  • Provide guidance and training to Human Resources functional teams to enable individuals to work more independently in Workday.
  • Assist in identifying areas of opportunity to improve existing HRIS processes.
  • Document procedures and configuration changes within the areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Provide consistent, excellent customer service when managing intake requests.

What you'll bring to the role

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field; additional experience may substitute
  • A quick learner with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
  • 5 years' experience within HR functional areas, including 3 years configuring Workday's Human Capital Management system (i.e. business processes, security, integrations)
  • Workday Report Writing experience, including creating and maintaining calculated fields.
  • Experience working in ticket/case management system (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with strong technical skills.
  • Preferred: Workday PRO Certification

Remote Work Eligibility

This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US.

Compensation Grade Range and Mid-Point

Grade Range: $77,300.00 - $143,500.00 / Grade Mid-Point: $110,400.00

The above annual compensation range and mid-point are general guidelines. For candidates who meet the criteria, the AAMC's compensation philosophy is to target the midpoint of the salary range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
