Job Description About the role: We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, go-getter to lead the digital marketing efforts for our subscription-based business. As a valuable member of the Leadership team, the VP will report to the CEO, bringing expertise driving growth in subscription-based businesses with a passion for growing the positive impact of The Class globally via the Digital Studio business model. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies and best practices that drive repeatable, scalable customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will manage a lean team, collaborate cross-functionally, think creatively and be able to move from strategy to execution while owning the performance metrics and revenue goals for the digital subscription business. Qualifications: What you’ll do: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing tactics and campaigns to acquire new subscribers and retain existing ones. Own setting and achieving key digital marketing metrics including, new subscribers, winbacks, churn, cost per trial, ARPU, CAC, and LTV. Oversee the strategy for all digital marketing channels, including the website, email, social media, search engines, and paid advertising. Create and optimize customer journeys across digital touchpoints to maximize conversion and retention rates. Lead and mentor a small team of digital marketing specialists, fostering a culture that balances creativity and attention to detail with performance and continuous improvement. Analyze campaign performance, user behavior, and market trends to identify trends, optimize conversion rates, and improve customer lifetime value. Collaborate with product, content, partnerships, studio and CX teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives. Own the Subscription revenue goals and related digital marketing budget, optimizing spend across channels for maximum ROI. Own the marketing tech stack ensuring we are strategic in implementing high-ROI tools that serve the business goals and increase the efficiency of our internal operations. Work closely with the product team to ensure alignment between revenue goals, marketing campaigns and product development. Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, implementing best practices and testing new ideas as appropriate. Oversee agencies and independent consultants including PR, graphic design, and copywriting. Who you are: A proven subject-matter expert who has owned marketing for a digital subscription based business. At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Confidence in designing high-performing customer acquisition and retention strategies. Experience in the health and wellness industry, ideally in a start-up/early-stage company. You thrive in a fast-paced, creative and resourceful environment. You are a strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You are a performance-marketing expert but understand and appreciate brand-marketing. You have an acute attention to detail and you care about the small stuff. You have excellent communication, management and organizational skills. A passion for, or serious and genuine interest in, The Class. Salary: The approximate salary range for this position is $130,000 - $175,000. The exact salary offered may vary based on job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education and training, business needs and market demands.
