The Candidate will perform highly advanced product management, requirement gathering, and documentation as part of a project team with direction and guidance from the Project Management Office and Applications Services Management. The Candidate must have a strong comprehension of what the customer is trying to achieve and develop a pipeline to translate that information to create the prioritized product backlog for the development team using an Agile/Scrum methodology. This position entails a candidate who is very organized and possesses analytical thinking with strong communication skills as they will need to see through the eyes of the customer, helping them extract functional requirements using industry-leading business process mapping and reengineering methodologies that facilitate a clean, well-organized backlog that translates well to a development team leading to the delivery of successful projects. The worker's primary goal will be to drive the customer's product vision into reality with the help of the project team.
CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced product management tasks such as:
Ability to turn a product vision into an applicable strategy that can be supported by business and IT management Able to analyze and interpret technical information, including industry standards, statutes, administrative rules, procedures, and system documentation; to translate user/business needs into a technical style; to communicate technical instructions to system users; to analyze, evaluate, and integrate business rules into system requirements; to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions; and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Conducts in-depth interviews with Business SMEs, Business Product Manager and Business division stakeholders to elicit and thoroughly understand critical business processes, functions, and problems. Identifies ways to improve and modernize each specific process via automation. Partner with business SMEs and agile product teams to gather requirements and build product roadmaps that will be incorporated into the broader agency product portfolio plan Participate in research to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities Create product backlog with Themes, Epics, User stories Accepts work built by scrum teams and works with Business Product Manager, Lead SME, Product Manager and IT determines if product is shippable. Regularly attends sprint ceremonies and collaborates with the development team(s) Participating in all phases of SDLC, including release planning, analysis & design, user story recording/prioritization and software development. Performs acceptance testing of the user stories developed. Collaborates with the team to Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues. Providing guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.
Must be able to:
work with Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Developers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a professional and collaborative manner to define strategies and implementation approaches. lead requirements discovery, process mapping, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing work with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on prioritization and feature development while staying in the boundaries of our architectural footprint, accessibility standards and security protocols. partner with the scrum master, project manager, tech lead, section managers and executive teams to identify key capabilities needed as well as identifying potential issues. work with IT project team to manage the backlog ensuring that deliverables are met timely and meets customer expectations analyze application performance for health and improvement
Must have:
knowledge of technical and administrative attributes of Salesforce. strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. knowledge of software development methodologies Agile and Scrum problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary. Must perform related work as assigned. Candidates must be submitted with their legal name that match their Driver's License/ID Card or US Government document.
