Job Description Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on human capital management and organizational development initiatives. Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Develop talent acquisition strategies, oversee candidate sourcing and selection processes, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Oversee employee and labor relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling. Promote a constructive work environment and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. As appropriate, develop, implement and/or shepherd performance management processes within the business unit to drive employee engagement, development, and accountability. Promote and provide guidance on establishment of performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees. Lead compensation and benefits programs within the business unit, including salary administration, incentive plans, and employee benefits. Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices that support employee retention and motivation. Develop and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. Promote employee development and identify organizational and employee knowledge and informational deficiencies, design learning initiatives, and facilitate employee development opportunities. Develop, update and/or communicate employment related business policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and advise management on compliance matters. Lead initiatives to foster employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and an engaging workplace culture. Develop and implement recognition programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Lead Organizational Planning and Organizational Talent reviews assuring the long-term success of the business and its financial commitments. Ensure alignment is inclusive of a solid succession plan throughout the organization. Establish key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in HR practices. Build and lead a high-performing HR team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to HR staff members. Experience/Skills: 7+ years of progressive experience in human resources leadership roles, preferably in industrial manufacturing. Thorough knowledge of HR and Labor principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior business unit leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in HR software applications; preference to WorkDay. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all HR and Labor matters. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or equivalent HR certification preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Sole US citizenship required for employment at the Mankato, MN location.
