In order to qualify for this position you must meet the following requirement:
Specialized Experience:
GS-14:
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level performing the following duties: Serving as an expert in indemnity principles and practices; Organizing, directing, and implementing museum risk management and protection policies for international and/or domestic exhibitions. You must clearly show on your resume how you meet the above requirements or you will not be found qualified. In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the advertised grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part-time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held, the dates worked, and the total number of hours per week. National Service Experience:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Current or Former Political Appointees:
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office. Qualifications Must Be Met:
The qualification requirements listed above must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Interagency/Career Transition Assistance Program (I/CTAP) Eligibles:
If you have never worked for the federal government, you are not I/CTAP eligible. To be considered well qualified under I/CTAP, you must be rated at a minimum score of
