Minimum Qualifications:

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Amazon’s Global Marketing Team is focused on maximizing the value of Amazon’s customer base for all Amazon properties worldwide. The team is highly results-oriented and focuses on leveraging in-house technology to automate and scale marketing programs that drive new customers and maximize the lifetime value of Amazon customers through measurable marketing programs and channels.

We are looking for a seasoned senior marketer to join our Social Advertising team to help build our growing social media advertising team. The Social Advertising team is focused on leveraging all viable social media advertising platforms to grow Amazon businesses. As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will assess marketing capabilities, prioritize new strategies to test, run experiments and preliminary marketing campaigns through these channels, and scale up successful strategies. The primary objectives include acquiring new customers, encouraging customers to take high-value actions, and directly generating revenue.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Work cross-functionally with engineering to develop new automated programs from end to end.

Define experimental frameworks and optimize campaign set-ups for driving meaningful insights.

Define the metrics and processes needed to standardize the management of advertising campaigns.

Work directly with social networks to understand platform capabilities and explore marketing campaigns.

Design and carry out well-structured experiments (including tracking, measuring, and reporting).

Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunities.

Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.

Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
