The Megger Production Assembler ensures that customer instruments are assembled correctly and in accordance with Megger quality standards. Regular tasks may include, but are not limited to: assembling, inspecting, repairing, and functions checking assemblies and finished instruments to meet manufacturer's specifications; electronic circuit troubleshooting and adjustments; material inventory control; Engineering Project Builds (Proto-Type/Class Builds); product modifications via approved deviation.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Megger Production Assembler ensures that customer instruments are assembled correctly and in accordance with Megger quality standards. Regular tasks may include, but are not limited to: assembling, inspecting, repairing, and functions checking assemblies and finished instruments to meet manufacturer's specifications; electronic circuit troubleshooting and adjustments; material inventory control; Engineering Project Builds (Proto-Type/Class Builds); product modifications via approved deviation.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares finished products per assembly instructions, print specifications, and bill of materials
- Assemble and inspect component assemblies by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies, and measuring final component against print
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Megger 6S procedures and all applicable regulations.
- Maintain area inventory, order/reorder materials from warehouse per the defined Kanban structure.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

- High School Diploma required, associate degree or other applicable technical degree preferred.
- Three or more years of experience assembling complex electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability/Willingness to train more junior assemblers within the assembly discipline.
- Experience with surface mount and through hole soldering, prior certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read/understand product design schematics, assembly documentation, component datasheets, and bills of material.
- Average experience with the use of PCs and PC software applications.
- Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures, keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly.
- Experience working safely with Low/High Voltages
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
