Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, skilled, and experienced 3rd shift Maintenance Technician for a permanent role in our Manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be a critical member of our team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our complex manufacturing machinery. This role involves working on a variety of equipment, including digital and Kodak presses, motors, and conveyors, and requires a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures. This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise will directly impact our production and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, cleaning machinery, and inspecting belts and chains for wear and tear.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with equipment including digital and Kodak presses, motors, and conveyors.
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement Lock Out Tag Out procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production and minimize downtime.
  • Document and maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanic in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Experience in equipment calibration.
  • Proficient understanding of electrical systems.
  • Proven track record of equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Experience working with digital press and Kodak press.
  • Knowledge of motors and conveyors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in a related field is preferred.
