Senior Systems Administrator (Messaging Systems) (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO)

Provide L2 support for organization messaging and collaboration systems as well as assist in designing, testing, and troubleshooting messaging and collaboration platforms including M365, Teams, and others. Support O365 services including applications such as Outlook, OneDrive for Business, and Teams, as well as Exchange Online/Exchange OnPrem messaging and client connectivity (SMTP). Manage team incidents and requests, create and maintain knowledge base articles for support processes and procedures, complete project-based work including third-party application integration within the O365 tenant and PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting. Leverage skills with Exchange online/OnPrem Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Sharepoint Security, and Compliance Administrator, as well as Windows Operating Systems and open-source technologies. Maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the systems environment. Monitor systems, respond to problems, and plan for growth. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 3 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC at 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237. Salary: $90,563 - $150,250 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator, Systems Administrator, or other occupation/position/job title involving systems analysis.

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience administering Microsoft services including Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Exchange; 3 years of professional experience handling server infrastructure inventory (including Microsoft Windows Server 2019) and ensuring efficient computing resource utilization (including CPU, memory, and storage requirements); 3 years of professional experience communicating technical information to technical and non-technical users (including standard operating procedures (SOP) for tools and tasks (including requesting creation of shared mailboxes and distribution lists); 3 years of professional experience working with network security, network routing, switching protocols, domain name services, and firewalls to troubleshoot and deploy new services and products; 3 years of professional experience performing email gateway protection using Proofpoint or Microsoft Email Protection; and 3 years of professional experience performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis for email tracing and routing, auditing, and tracking.
