This summer internship at Harmony offers a unique perspective into a rare-disease focused biotech company. Our internship program will provide you the opportunity to work on real-world projects, as well as network with people at Harmony through various events and activities.
Summary of Internship:
This position will work on the Commercial Operations team at Harmony. Commercial Operations is responsible for:
- Providing key information to our field-based personnel so that they can execute the appropriate promotional strategies for optimal information exchange with HCPs that benefit adult patients with Narcolepsy.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate performance-based information which motivates and inspires field teams through various incentive-based programs.
- Manage the financial application and fiscal responsibility for all variable compensation programs to include: payout calculation, parallel processing management, eligibility application, ICP reporting, payout oversight process and variable compensation payout execution.
This internship will work on one or more projects in the areas of: CRM systems management, variable compensation calculation / monitoring and reporting.
This position will have the opportunity to learn about the customer relationship management system that supports the numerous field-based teams to optimally implement their promotional execution while supporting some of the HCP source data that populates the Harmony information management system. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding and appreciation for the variable compensation programs and their function across the Commercial teams. This position will provide hands-on support for these vital functional areas throughout the duration of the intern program and if bandwidth allows may also gain some direct experience within the Commercial analytics team.
Requirements:
- Minimum age for all candidates must be at least 18 years or older
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising sophomore, junior or senior
- Must be proficient in use of MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Teams
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
