Product Marketing Manager, Healthcare & Life Sciences - Austin, TX (Hybrid Office)

In the role of Product Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and be integral to shaping the growth strategy within the healthcare and life sciences sector. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) initiatives to enhance brand awareness and generate demand. These efforts aim to empower our sales team and partners to achieve significant success. Ideal candidates will have experience in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud, and AI, along with a strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics. Additionally, you should possess the capability to craft innovative messaging and marketing campaigns.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
Bring a deep understanding of healthcare and life sciences, including regulatory environments, challenges, and opportunities. Serve as the voice of the market within the organization, ensuring alignment between product, marketing, and sales teams.
Conduct research and stay ahead of emerging healthcare and life sciences trends and innovations, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for the vertical, aligning product messaging with industry pain points and business opportunities. Gather insights from customers, sales, and field teams to refine messaging, strategy, and product development.
Present insights, strategies, and results to leadership to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
Drive thought leadership by creating compelling content like white papers, blogs, and webinars that position Informatica as an innovator in the industry.
Craft messaging and value propositions tailored to healthcare and life sciences customers.
Build industry-specific stories that resonate with buyers, including key use cases and customer success stories.
Collaborate closely with product teams to translate technical capabilities into language that HCLS audiences understand and value.
Partner with sales teams to ensure they have the knowledge, tools, and collateral needed to sell into HCLS accounts effectively.
Create industry-specific assets like pitch decks, case studies, ROI calculators, and solution briefs.
Deliver targeted training sessions to equip sales teams with an understanding of the HCLS market, buyer personas, and objection-handling techniques.
Work closely with the field marketing team to design and execute campaigns targeting healthcare and life sciences accounts.
Understand and influence the buyer journey by identifying key decision-makers and designing campaigns that effectively engage them and fuel the pipeline.
Identify opportunities to showcase the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Partner with teams to ensure successful execution.
Identify opportunities to turn customers into advocates by building relationships and developing compelling case studies and joint marketing initiatives.
Track the effectiveness of industry-specific marketing efforts using data and metrics and manage budget.
Ensure the company remains competitive in HCLS by articulating unique differentiators and continuously evolving the go-to-market approach.
What We'd Like to See
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience, inclusive of 3+ years in healthcare and/or life sciences industry
Exceptional storytelling, communication skills and ability to present in front of an audience
Strategic thinker with the ability to dive into details when needed. A natural collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics and acumen in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud and AI
Ability to develop innovative messaging and marketing campaigns
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision-making
