We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic candidate to join our exceptional team of caregivers! Transforming traditional "nursing homes" into skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities is the focus at Hamilton Arms Center. We are fully committed to providing compassionate, family-oriented short and long-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing care.

Requirements of the Charge Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN):
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served. Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies or personnel, and the general public. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition Must possess basic computer knowledge Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen. Responsibilities of the Charge Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN):
Evaluate performance, initiate disciplinary actions, and prepare and complete performance evaluations for personnel. Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care. Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care Establish realistic, measurable short and long term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continued evaluation of outcomes. Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders. Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented. Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts. Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Facility. Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situation
