Mid-Level eDiscovery Litigation Associate
to join its team in Boston, MA. This role offers significant responsibility, working closely with senior attorneys and clients in managing complex litigation matters involving eDiscovery. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the capability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties
Lead eDiscovery efforts for high-stakes litigation cases. Coordinate and supervise project timelines, budgets, and standards for efficient execution. Draft and negotiate discovery protocols, orders, and agreements with clients and opposing counsel. Act as the primary point of contact for internal legal teams, partners, and clients regarding eDiscovery project execution. Oversee and manage document review teams, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Develop detailed budgets and cost estimates for eDiscovery projects, including monthly revenue forecasting and invoice reviews. Implement and manage document review workflows, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Provide mentorship and training to junior attorneys and document review staff. Foster a collaborative, positive environment for the team. Requirements
3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery, gained in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government setting. Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and excellent business judgment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts or eligible for admission. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for admission. Skills
Proficient in eDiscovery tools and processes. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and forecasting. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
