Job Description - Senior Project Manager, Education, Nursing Operations, and Clinical Pathways (3315931)

Under the direction of the Program Director, the Senior Project Manager (Education, Nursing Operations, and Clinical Pathways) will support the implementation of the West Health Accelerator program. This role will report into the Mass General Brigham Project Management Office, which reports into the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. In partnership with the Program Director and the Senior Project Manager (Implementation Research, Human Centered Design, and Quality and E-Care), the Senior Project Manager will provide both strategic and day-to-day guidance and support to team members of the West Health Accelerator for the implementation and continuous improvement of the older adult care model. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that work is delivered on time, on scope, and on budget while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead integrated project planning, including driving project objectives, building project plans, and revising tasks and timelines as appropriate. Identify potential barriers and opportunities for program and project work, solve problems as they arise, and escalate issues to program leadership. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders. Engage hospital-level West Champions in strategic discussions on approaches to implementation. Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership to facilitate meetings and develop presentation materials. Represent the West Health Accelerator effectively internally and externally. Manage the full spectrum of analysis related to the project/committee. Develop playbooks and toolkits for efficiency and enhancements to implementation. Act as the primary contact and liaison to the West Health Accelerator branches. Nursing and Operations Duties:
Coordinate with Nursing and Operations leadership for implementation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Identify process and technology improvement opportunities. Clinical Pathway Duties:
Oversee implementation of the care model and provide guidance on scaling. Capture implementation success criteria. Education Duties:
Ensure development and execution of an education curriculum. Support clinical champions in orienting new clinical leaders. Qualifications:
MS Required Minimum of 7 years of progressively more responsible experience in a research related field (preferably in operations, project management, or performance improvement). Prior supervisory experience required. Prior experience with financial management and data collection systems. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Experience designing clinical workflows in collaboration with clinicians. Process improvement skills and/or training preferred. Experience working within healthcare systems preferred. Strong project management skillset with experience facilitating multi-disciplinary design sessions. Excellent leadership skills with a strong ability to influence in a matrix organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required. BWH is an Affirmative Action Employer.
