A law firm seeks an experienced attorney at the Senior Associate to Counsel level to join its Corporate Practice Group in Los Angeles. This role involves handling complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and securities matters. Candidates with a background in private equity or finance will find this experience advantageous, though it is not required. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional drafting, analytical, and organizational abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach. Duties

Manage a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and securities matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and ensure legal compliance. Provide strategic counsel to clients on corporate governance, regulatory matters, and risk mitigation strategies. Supervise and mentor junior associates, ensuring high-quality work product and professional development. Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of corporate law experience in a law firm environment. Demonstrated expertise in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and securities. Prior experience in private equity and finance is a plus but not mandatory. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Superior academic credentials are highly preferred. Certifications

Active admission to the California State Bar (preferred). Skills

Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Advanced legal research and writing capabilities.
