The Job
This position will establish the strategies, systems and tools utilizing best practices to build a world-class operation. You will lead the talent and career development within the Operational Excellence team ensuring that current and future leaders can meet the challenges of the business.
You Will
Inspire change in the organization, functioning as a catalyst for the organization to adopt and implement validated and emerging strategies to drive speed, quality, experience and reliability in our processes. Drive Operational Excellence best practices, such as daily management, standard work, root-cause defect investigation and mitigation and effective problem solving Own and manage the measurement systems and practices used to evaluate our operations with a specific focus on outliers, statistical process control, exceptions and logical stratification of the business Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority for Continuous Improvement in the organization. Duties include benchmarking SCAN continuous improvement vs. best practices and new developments across industries, spearheading industry awareness and adoption, using effective technologies, information flows and intelligence to build a more industrialized operation of the future, serve as an expert resource to our operating business units needing in-depth knowledge on continuous improvement tools. Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority for Workforce and Capacity Planning functions, including ongoing refinement and management of the intradiem, short term and long term forecasting plans and monitoring against those plans Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority on problem and incident management for significant operational capability issues including compliance, financial, quality and/or experience. Lead effective root-cause investigation and corrective, preventive and detective practices through an enterprise, outside-in lens. Serve as the functional leader and subject matter authority on quality, regulatory and control monitoring, management and improvement including accountability for operational audit readiness, quality monitoring of transactions and controls to continuously mistake- proof and error-proof our operation Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals. Other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
Preferred, but not required: Bachelor’s degree. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered. 10-15 years of Operational experience. 5+ years of leadership experience. Leadership - Skilled to develops others Business Insight - In-Depth understanding of the business Problem Solving - Good problem-solving skills Strategic Mindset - Anticipates future trends and implications accurately
