Mid-Level Litigation Associate
to join its eDiscovery and Information Management practice group in Washington, DC. This role offers significant responsibility, client interaction, and collaboration with senior attorneys. Handle eDiscovery tasks for complex litigation cases, including project management and execution. Supervise and coordinate document review teams to ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Draft and negotiate discovery-related agreements, protocols, and orders. Act as the primary contact for internal legal teams, partners, and clients concerning eDiscovery strategy and updates. Design and oversee document review workflows, including quality control processes. Provide training and guidance to document review attorneys to enhance performance and deliverables. Prepare accurate budgets and cost estimates for review projects and manage monthly forecasting and invoicing. Foster a positive, collaborative team environment. Requirements
3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery (law firm, in-house, or government experience preferred). Strong analytical, organizational, and legal research skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and maintain attention to detail under pressure. Excellent judgment, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Admitted to practice law in the state of Washington, DC, or eligible for admission. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of practice. Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently while meeting high-performance standards. Proficiency in eDiscovery tools and technologies. Strong conceptual thinking and persuasive communication skills.
