Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Datacenter Hardware Installation Technician to join our team. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware in our datacenter facilities. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to ensure that our hardware infrastructure meets the needs of our business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in datacenter hardware installation and maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The Senior Datacenter Hardware Technician will serve as subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of a datacenter hardware implementations. Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized datacenter environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Participates as needed in all phases of server, SANs projects with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirement



Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and other hardware in our datacenters
  • Monitor and maintain the health of our hardware infrastructure, including diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise
  • Work with our IT team to ensure that our hardware infrastructure meets the needs of our business
  • Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute hardware installations and upgrades
  • Manage and maintain inventory of hardware components
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to safety and security protocols
  • Develop and maintain documentation for hardware installations and maintenance procedures
  • Mentor and train junior technicians.


Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in datacenter hardware installation and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of server hardware, storage devices, networking equipment, and related technologies
  • Experience with enterprise-class hardware from vendors such as Dell, HP, and Cisco
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly and accurately
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with project management and planning is a plus.


Posted Min Pay Rate:
USD $95,577.60/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate:
USD $159,296.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure:
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
